First Weekend in Boarding

The first weekend in boarding was busy and fun-filled! The grade 8s got together on Friday evening to go out for pizza and check out the neighborhood mall. This was a really good opportunity for the group to get to know one another better.

On Saturday, everyone in the house went to Willows Beach to enjoy games, sports, snacks and lots of socializing. The weather was perfect and views of Mt. Baker were crystal clear.

The fun continued into Sunday with the first house games event of the year. All boarding students participated in some friendly competition with other houses. Before beginning, each house had the challenge of creating a cheer to help build spirit and connections within the boarding community. There were lots of laughs to be had; a huge highlight for everyone!
